Designed back in 1954 by Leo Fender, the “stratocaster” has become ubiquitous among all electric guitar players across the world. Almost everybody is familiar with the look of the Fender Squier Stratocaster and it has been played by some of the best guitarist in the world.
I’ve traveled with my guitar all over the world. It has been in a hard guitar case thousands of miles on countless airplanes, trains, buses and taxis.
It has also traveled in a padded case just down the street to a gig or the local guitar store.
Founded in 1962 in Japan, Takamine has become one of the most well-known acoustic guitars all across the world. Over the years their guitars have been played by the likes of Garth Brooks, Tommy Emmanuel and Bruno Mars among many others.
One of my very first guitars was a Fender acoustic back when I was 8 years old. Most of my guitar-playing foundation was laid on a beginner Fender acoustic guitar like the Fender FA-100.
Fender is a great, well-known name in the guitar-making industry. They’ve been around since the late 1930’s and although their roots are in the electric guitar, they’ve been in the acoustic guitar business for decades.
